A 21-year-old woman has been arrested after a man in his 20s was stabbed in a domestic assault incident in Parr on Thursday, February 6. Police responded to reports of the stabbing at 8.45pm on Broad Oak Road, where they found the man with stab wounds. The victim was rushed to the hospital and is currently in stable condition, according to police. The woman was detained shortly after the incident and taken into custody on suspicion of wounding intent.
The scene on Broad Oak Road was cordoned off by officers, causing a road closure in the area. However, the police presence has since been lifted as the investigation continues. Detective Inspector Yoseph Al-Ramadhan emphasized the seriousness of the case, urging anyone with information to come forward. He assured victims of domestic abuse that specially trained officers would provide support throughout the process, emphasizing the importance of reporting such incidents promptly.

Al-Ramadhan stated, “Our investigation is ongoing and the woman will be interviewed in due course.
