Warrington Embraces Return of Halloween Lakeside Trail for Second Year

The Halloween Lakeside Trail is set to return to Partridge Lakes in Culcheth from Friday, October 4 to October 31 for its second year running. This highly anticipated event will take place on the expansive 70-acre site, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in a wickedly fun and family-friendly Halloween experience.

Last year’s event saw unprecedented success with popular dates and times, including weekends and Halloween, selling out quickly. Given the overwhelming response from attendees, organisers are advising visitors to book their tickets early to avoid disappointment this year.

Embark on a Magical Quest Through the Mystical Forest

As dusk falls, guests will embark on a magical quest through the mystical forest, where they will wander through Skeletons’ Hollow, dance with friendly ghosts, and journey through the woodland spider’s tunnel to the magical witches’ lair. The Halloween Lakeside Trail promises to be an enchanted walk filled with thrills and surprises for all ages.

In addition to the trail, visitors can explore the free-to-enter welcome hub, which features live music, food outlets such as Halloumination, Pizza in the Box, Spoon Desserts, and Partridge Café. The café will be serving up classic hotdogs, burgers, fries, and themed Halloween ice cream, with more vendors to be confirmed closer to the event.

For those looking to quench their thirst or enjoy a spooky-themed meal, there will be a variety of drinks and licensed bars offering unique menus. Additionally, the popular toasted marshmallows and lakeside fire pits will be making a return this year, providing the perfect setting for a cozy evening by the water.

Dog-Friendly Attractions and Terrifying Trails

For four-legged friends, the Halloween Lakeside Trail will offer plenty of treats and accessories for purchase, ensuring that even furry companions can join in on the Halloween fun. The dog-friendly café will also be open to cater to the needs of canine visitors, making it a truly inclusive event for all.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the ‘Haunting’ Trail in 2023, the organisers have decided to bring back the terrifying version of the attraction for 2024. The Halloween Lakeside Terror Trail will run on select dates, including October 11, 18, 25, and November 1, offering a spine-chilling experience for guests aged 14 and over.

Visitors brave enough to face the horrors along the terror trail will uncover the chilling secrets that lurk within the murky waters, promising a heart-pounding and unforgettable Halloween experience. Please note that the family-friendly main trail will not be open on the dates when the Halloween Lakeside Terror Trail is running.

Exciting Additions and Thrilling Experiences Await

Barbara Ikin, the event manager and Halloween Lakeside Trail organiser, expressed her excitement for the event’s return in 2024. Reflecting on the positive feedback received in 2023, she shared her enthusiasm for welcoming thousands of visitors to the venue and teased some exciting additions planned for this year’s trail.

“We’ve been planning the event since the doors closed last year and have lots of exciting additions for 2024 that we can’t wait for you to see,” said Ikin. “The trail this year is going to be more immersive than 2023 and should be the perfect setting to make unique Halloween memories with the family that will last a lifetime.”

In addition to the immersive trail experience, guests can look forward to a range of food and drink options available at the event. From spooky-themed menus at the licensed bars to classic favorites like hotdogs and burgers at the Partridge Café, there will be something to satisfy every craving.

Tickets for the Halloween Lakeside Trail are selling fast, and interested attendees are encouraged to secure their spot online as soon as possible. Don’t miss out on this spooktacular event that promises fun, thrills, and unforgettable memories for the whole family.
