Firefighters are offering free safety checks on vehicles as winter approaches. Drivers can go to Sainsbury’s Chapelford on November 17 from 1pm to 3pm for the checks. Warrington West Beat Team officers and Cheshire Fire and Rescue firefighters from Penketh fire station are teaming up for this initiative. In addition to the safety checks, a 1964 Police Panda car will be on display for children to enjoy. Free goodies will be given out, and there will also be free bike marking and registrations on the Bike Register database. This event marks the beginning of Brake, the road safety charity’s Road Safety Week. It’s a great opportunity for drivers to ensure their vehicles are safe and ready for the winter season.
