It all started at around 3.10pm today, Tuesday, May 6, when the fire was reported. The road running through the forest, Station Road, had to be closed by the police. Can you believe it? Six fire engines are there, and they’re telling everyone to steer clear of the area.
The firefighters are using beaters and water from a nearby lake to battle the blaze. They’re really going all out to stop this fire from spreading even more. Some pictures show the forest just being swallowed up by flames, with smoke rising high into the sky. It’s like something out of a movie, you know?
