Liverpool property developer Legacie has successfully finished its Parliament Square housing scheme, costing a total of £90 million. The project consists of 500 apartments located on the outskirts of the Baltic Triangle, all of which are now occupied by residents. The development spans four blocks, varying in height from eight to eighteen stories, situated around Parliament Street, Newhall Street, and Great George Street. These blocks offer a range of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments.

One of the key features of Parliament Square is the inclusion of a public plaza that is surrounded by new shops and restaurants, covering a total area of 12,000 sq ft. This plaza serves as a connection point between the development and the Baltic Triangle, enhancing the overall community feel of the area. The residential block that stands as the tallest in the scheme boasts a gym, rooftop spa, and residents’ lounge, providing stunning views of Liverpool, Wirral, and North Wales.

To kick-start the development, Legacie secured a £45 million funding injection from Maslow Capital, a London-based firm. The sales of all the new homes were pre-arranged by RW Invest, the sales agent for the project. Legacie’s CEO, John Morley, expressed his pride in creating a vibrant new community at Parliament Square that not only contributes to the city’s income through council tax and business rates but also offers prestigious living spaces.

The success of Parliament Square is evident in the fact that every single apartment has been sold, showcasing the quality of the development and the high level of investment that went into bringing the project to life. The completion of Parliament Square marks a significant milestone for Legacie, highlighting their dedication to delivering exceptional commercial and residential projects. As a next step, Parliament Square is set to welcome new restaurants, a national supermarket chain, and a local bakery, further enhancing the amenities available to residents.

Additionally, the ground-floor office space at Parliament Square currently houses over 200 employees, further contributing to the development’s impact on the local economy. The completion of Parliament Square closely follows the finalization of the One Baltic Square apartment scheme by Liverpool property developer Nexus Residential. This neighboring project comprises 296 apartments and several commercial units, located at the intersection of Grafton Street and Hill Street.

Overall, the completion of Parliament Square and the nearby One Baltic Square mark significant milestones in the ongoing regeneration and development of the Baltic Triangle area in Liverpool. These projects not only offer high-quality residential spaces but also contribute to the growth and vibrancy of the local community. The success of these developments underscores the commitment of property developers like Legacie and Nexus Residential to creating thriving and modern living spaces in the heart of the city.
