Forensics have barged into the Go Local store, as shown in some photos snapped at the scene. They’re clearly on a mission, placing evidence bags outside the store, which, unfortunately, is still stuck inside the cordon for now. Detective Chief Inspector Cath Cummings has spoken out about the incident, expressing understanding for the concern it’s causing in the community, especially given the young age of the victims involved. She’s urging anyone with info to step up and spill the beans, whether it’s to officers in Westvale, or by reporting directly to them or via Crimestoppers. The detective is calling on witnesses to share what they know to help piece together what went down and nail those responsible. With a significant police presence in the area tonight, they’re working hard to gather info from local businesses and residents. If you know anything, do the right thing and come forward.
