The first reported incident occurred on New Year’s Day at St Gregory’s Catholic High School in Great Sankey, where a PC base and laptop were stolen. Following this, on January 6, St Stephens Primary School in Orford fell victim to a break-in, resulting in the theft of several iPads. Westbrook Old Hall Primary School experienced a similar fate on January 10, with two laptops disappearing. The final incident took place on January 17 at St Barnabas CE Aided Primary School in Bewsey, where tablet computers were reported missing.
