In May, filming commenced for the gangster flick Geezers, featuring stars like Shaun Ryder and Bez. The Hive on Cairo Street served as a filming location, along with other spots in Warrington town center.

Two Pints of Lager stars Will Mellor and Ralf Little were also seen in Warrington, filming for their new show “Will and Ralf Should Know Better.” The series follows the duo as they face various challenges related to aging and spirituality.

The iconic Sophie Ellis-Bextor was spotted filming the Freemans’ Autumn Winter campaign outside the Treasury building on Museum Street. The advert showcases the retailer’s shift to online stores, with Sophie posing in and around the building.
