The Great British Food Festival is coming to Arley Hall near Warrington next month. It’s a fantastic event that celebrates food and drink from the region and beyond.

In addition to the usual food stalls, there will be a variety of options available for those with dietary restrictions, such as vegan and gluten-free choices. This means that everyone can enjoy the delicious offerings at the festival.

There will also be live music to enjoy while you sample the different foods, as well as a play area for children. And don’t worry if you want to bring your furry friends along – the event is dog friendly, so everyone can join in on the fun.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the chef demonstrations. The Alberti Twins, John and Tony, will be showcasing their skills in the kitchen. They gained fame on Love Island and have since become renowned chefs. COOK!, the Vegetarian Society’s new cookery school, will also be present to share their passion for plant-based cooking.

The festival was started over a decade ago by the Maycock family from Altrincham and has continued to grow in popularity ever since. Janine Maycock, one of the co-founders, expressed the festival’s goal of bringing people together through their love of food. There will be various activities to participate in, such as the Chilli Challenge, Sausage & Cider Challenge, Kids’ Cookery, Cake-Off, and Foraging Walks.

With over 40 stalls in the artisan market, visitors will have the chance to sample and purchase the best local produce. There will also be bars serving up refreshing drinks, a crafts and gift marquee for some shopping, and plenty of opportunities to indulge in delicious food.

The Great British Food Festival is a wonderful way to spend a day with family and friends, enjoying good food, live music, and fun activities. Don’t miss out on this exciting event happening near Warrington next month.
