Three people were seriously injured in a crash on Leigh Avenue in Widnes. The incident occurred when a black Mercedes collided with a grey Audi A1. The individuals inside the Mercedes fled the scene of the accident. The occupants of the Audi, including a 23-year-old man and two women aged 18 and 21, sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized.

A suspect named Anthony Campbell, 25, has been charged with various offenses including driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, failing to stop after a collision, and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Campbell, who resides in Abbey Close, Widnes, has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 14.

Cheshire Police are continuing their investigations into the crash and are appealing to the public for any information or video footage related to the incident.
